The new Evolution Bipod is a lower profile alternative to the hugely popular Tactical Bipod. DESIGN The Evolution Tactical Bipod utilises an under-slung design giving it a lower centre of gravity, perfect for better recoil management. It also features a unique rotational mechanism using sealed roller bearings which are impervious to sand, grit and dirt. This is what gives the bipod a silky smooth movement as it rotates around the barrel of the rifle. The legs of the Evolution are spring loaded for rapid deploy and completely silent when the bipod is on the ground, making it ideal for both tactical and hunting applications. The feet are designed to be interchangeable in the field by using the tip of a bullet, and the picatinny adapter can be tightened to fit any picatinny rail regardless of the varying tolerances. MATERIALS The Evolution Tactical Bipod evolved from it’s brother, the hugely popular Tactical Bipod and was also designed to provide the strength and stiffness needed for long range shooting, with the weight savings of a smaller, lighter bipod. We achieved this by using space age materials including very high quality carbon fiber and 7075T6 aluminum, one of the toughest and lightest alloys available anywhere. The result is a carbon fiber and aluminum bipod that is successfully tested up to .338 Lap Mag. calibre and which provides the same strength, stability under recoil, and rugged usability as an Atlas but at a very low weight.
