The Urbino Tactical stock system features a molded pocket at the front where the stock meets the shotgun receiver. A nylon blank is provide to fill this pocket, but it can also accept any of several stamped steel 1 1/4″ inch Sling Loops, H&K Hook Loops or Push Button Sling Swivel mounts. The Push Button Sling Swivel mount includes a US made Push Button Sling Swivel, and all the sling mounts feature a tough mil-spec manganese phosphate finish. Ambi style sling attachments feature mounts on both sides of the receiver. Providing something like this with the Urbino stock allows us to offer robust but inexpensive options for attaching single point or three point slings to the shotgun. Urbino Tactical Stocks are cast with a shallow pocket in the front of the parts that accept any of four sling plates available separately from Mesa Tactical, or they can accept the sling plate blanks that are packaged with the kit. If you are installing an optional pocket sling loop, hook loop or push-button sling swivel with your Urbino Tactical stock, place it securely in the front stock pocket. Note that with some models proper fitment depends on which end is up and which is down.
