For use with M4 and M16-type weapons (9/16” X 24 TPI x .905” OD). Made from 8620 steel with 60RC surface hardness and salt bath nitrited, corrosion-resistant finish. Compatible with SEI Windtalker DC sound suppressor. Jam nut included. Item Nr.: 440-1002-24 INSTALLATION WARNING – PLEASE NOTE SEI GOOD IRON™ MUZZLE BRAKE INSTALLATION – After the brake is installed, check to see that there are no bore obstructions or misalignments. The bore, through to the bullet exit hole in the brake, should be concentric. We have no control over how barrels are made, or the bore concentricity to the muzzle threads. If possible, make your visual inspections from the breech end. If you have an AR-type system, be sure to make the visual inspection through the rear of the upper receiver with bolt carrier removed. For all other systems, you may need to inspect from the muzzle end, or try a bore alignment tool. If you are unsure, take the firearm to a competent gunsmith for installation, or call SEI at 480 964-1818. THE OF USE RELOADS IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
