30mm Tube, CM-R2 Illuminated Reticle, M2 BDC Turrets Leupold designed the matte black 1.5-5x20 Mark 4 MR/T M2 Riflescope for medium-range tactical applications and outfitted it to withstand the toughest of conditions, carrying out the most demanding tasks. The optical system was engineered to provide superior performance and features Xtended Twilight Fully Multi-Coated lenses for improved image brightness and true color in low light, ion-assisted DiamondCoat 2 lens coating for protection against debris and abrasion, and blackened-edge optical elements to reduce stray light glare and to improve image contrast. All optical elements are also made of eco-friendly, lead-free optical glass. Another highlight of this scope is the CM-R2 (Close-Mid-Range Reticle), located in the 2nd focal plane. It features a fine (0.5 MOA) illuminated dot surrounded by 5 MOA illuminated broken circle and extending thin ranging T-shaped cross with markings for ballistic and wind compensation. The horizontal stadia allow you to lead targets that are moving at 5, 10, and 15mph. The vertical stadia are optimized for estimating ranges to 18" targets and offering precise holdovers from 300 to 900 meters. The CM-R2 reticle should be zeroed at 200 meters using M855 5.56mm NATO or .223 Remington cartridge with a muzzle velocity of 2810 fps for 62 grain FMJ bullets.
