Barrier Blind Subsonic 9mm by G9 | Tactical Rifleman

Most of you know that I love G9 ammo and carry their External Hollow Point +P 9mm as my EDC ammo of choice. I also love their Super Match ammo in both 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. Chatting with them about my next order of ammo and we got to talking about how well their ammo performs against barriers such as car doors, glass, drywall, and thick clothing. Then they start bragging about how even their subsonic 9mm defeats light body armor. What?!!! Nah, don't believe it till I see it. Case is in the mail. First, ammo has to run 100% reliably in your weapon. Then, I'm really big on accuracy. Then, maybe we'll talk barriers. Reliability: True honesty, some of my suppressed 9mm pistols loved this ammo and other suppressed 9mm pistols did not. However, through ALL my 9mm carbines, this G9 Subsonic ran flawlessly. Accuracy: I'm pretty good with a pistol and I could not tell this subsonic 9mm from their other 9mm from an accuracy standpoint. Subsonic? Why? Standard 9mm breaks the sound barrier creating that sonic boom or crack. With a suppressor on the gun, this ammo was a joy to shoot with no hearing protection on. This is important for many reason, especially from a home defense standpoint, where you the defender may not have time to grab hearing protection. Barrier Blind: This stuff cranked through EVERYTHING. Glass, wood, 4 layers of drywall, couple car doors, pumpkins, a TV, and even some light soft-armor panels. While it is not considered Armor-piercing, the design of the external hollowpoint performs awesome against most light barriers.
