How to clear a Squib from a rifle or pistol barrel... Easy, if you have the right tools. Let's get a little deeper. If you even THINK you MIGHT have a squib... 1. Safe & Unload the firearm 2. Rifle: Pull Bolt/Bolt Carrier Group from the Rifle Pistol: Remove Slide from pistol ; remove barrel from slide. 3. Look through barrel: you will either see sunlight or nothing.
