A viewer named Jorge who works in radiology sent us some tungsten radiation shields to see if they would stop bullets. One is 7mm thick and the other is 8mm. Tungsten is a very hard and dense metal and very expensive because of the difficulty to forge and machine. "Bulletproof" is an old term where you "proof" or "prove" a plate like this can stop a certain class of bullet. "Proven to stop a 9mm bullet at 1200 fps". It doesn't mean it can stop everything. The original usage is similar to how "proof" is used for alcohol. This video was safely filmed at a proper shooting range.
