This was filmed at a proper shooting range. Michael S. sent these prototype rounds (not for sale) to test out. They feature a three-piece sabot which holds three .53 cal. lead balls. I used a mild load due to the weight, the limited capacity of a 3" hull, and to avoid excessive recoil for the shooters. I also anticipated the sabots might also be fragile and could break from "g-shock". You'll notice the lack of shock-waves in the long-range tests since these were sub-sonic.
