Bulletproof FACE MASK - But would it HURT?

Filmed safely at a proper shooting range, we demonstrate the stopping-power of Atomic Defense's UHMWPE armored face mask. The mask does a great job of stopping handgun rounds, but would it hurt still if you were hit while wearing armor on your face? Understand that these masks are designed for one bullet strike. After that, it is possible the mask can lose structural integrity. We tried to spread the impacts to different locations of the mask to minimize this. Some say the .45 acp test using the squash wouldn't have been as bad on a fresh mask, but look at the deformation of the 9mm round.
