With a 18.5"+ barrel it is in the non-restricted category and legal to possess with a PAL (possession & acquisition license). The ATRS AT-15 lower with Colt Canada SAS IUR upper and the Beretta M9A3 are restricted firearms in Canada, requiring a RPAL to possess.
