Unintended Consequences of posting your own "gun fail" footage

I too was pretty shocked when I saw Scott's video. I'm glad he wasn't hurt worse. While it was a good thing for him to explain what happened, SHOWING the gun blowing up (over and over again no less) was something that should not have been shared. I've seen several channels shut down by YT for violating the rules about showing "harmful or dangerous acts", "sensitive events", and "showing injury or death", etc. When firearms are concerned the rules go even deeper and darker. It's the environment video creators have to tip-toe through these days. This video is from the perspective of a Youtube Creator, not a viewer, who understands how quickly bad decisions can cause termination from the platform. Jorg Sprave was the victim of a hit-piece by a dirty journalist who twisted a video he made into something so bad, big companies pulled their ads from the platform and affected everyone from make-up channels to gaming channels and everyone in between. Tex Grebner thought a video of him where he accidently shot himself in the leg would be a good safety lesson to share. He ended up getting mocked and ridiculed for many years after that. Unfortunately, we live in a world where people, journalists included, will use accident footage like Scott's out of context and it ends up being a very regretful decision to upload it. I'm sure this video will upset some fanboys, but do you really want to see Scott's channel - cancelled? Do you want to see his accident played over and over in fail videos and him getting mocked? Think about the consequences.
