ProTech Don Auto: Italian Coolness ProTech is a small knife company Hq'd in Artesia, CA and all their blades are of course 100% pure American goodness. They produce small quantities of high end autos, many reviewed and beloved here. The more special Godfather series will anchor this review however. It was a formative auto for me personally, acquired before TNP. You'll see two versions of it as we consider a similar blade, the ProTech "Don Auto". TD helps out with the review and adds hilarity as usual. This Italian inspired design has those elements but is much high quality, faster, and cooler than any European switchblade I've seen (and I've owned several). The price is kind of up there but the knife will hold its value and that's the cost for American made. Also consider the value price GODSON, the smaller version of The Godfather. These are lightweight very cool collectibles and come in at a low price point.
