THE AK SHOTGUN THAT WORKS: Kalishnakov KS12

We'll go back in the TNP Time Machine for this one. You see, Saiga 12 shotguns were featured regularly early in the Project. Some ran good but most didn't. They needed a lot of fussing and tuning to "get them right." I never bought one and never wanted to. Instead I focused on reliable auto options from Remington, Benelli, Stoeger, FN, etc. Those reviews still stand! But this Kalishnakov USA 12 gauge AK might break that cycle. I got it on loan from Gunnies the Great American Western Wear store. It goes on many desert outings to see if I can make it fail. Results shown. Now it is still a mag feed semi auto shotgun and that brings its own attendant problems (briefing reminded here). But with its well thought out furniture, simplicity, and reliability this might be the AK shotgun I've always wanted (for dove hunting of course).
