Mastery of the basics is what sets professionals apart from the masses. I know everyone already knows how to do "Pew Pew" and want to learn "Advanced Skills" and be Awesome. That's fine, but lets start with a few critical tasks that most don't practice. One of them is switching your rifle from strong side to shooting from your non-dominant side. Switching Shoulders. We have several videos on how & when to switch shoulders properly, that you can find in our video archive. We also have a complete list of videos on all our Critical Tasks Evaluations (CTEs) that you can also find there. One of those tests is called "Switching Shoulders El Prez" and requires 12 rifle rounds to shoot. That's a fun test, but it eats a lot of ammo. So, this week I want to share a shooting drill that I picked up while I was down at the SIG Academy. This is the "Switching Shoulders" Drill and only takes 2 rounds to do. Practice it in both directions. Hope you enjoy the drill and I hope you enjoyed the video.
