York County Flintlock Rifle Build Update 23

In this update I’ll take a commercially made, four-piece brass patchbox and prepare it to install on the York County Flintlock rifle. Installing the patchbox will be a three episode series within the York County build series. Episode #1 will be about preparing the patchbox for inletting. Episode #2 will be about inletting the patchbox into the stock Episode #3 will be about making and installing the release mechanism. So, lets look at Episode #1.
