Sleek Shooting with the GST-9 | Tactical Rifleman

I love Glock pistols because they run. They are ugly and dated, but they ALWAYS run. That's important in a combat pistol. I watched every company under the sun make after-market parts for Glocks, and most run great. However, with the rise of 80% printed guns, like Polymer80, I have seen a lot of "Glockish" guns showing up at classes that are jamming and failing often. Enter 80%Arms and their GST-9 pistol... They offered to let me have one complete to test, for free. I made sure they understood that there was NO promise that I would do a video review, and that I fully expected this pistol to fail. Fast forward, and after a year of me TRYING to make it fail, I am pleasantly surprised and happy to report that this puppy is Badass. I played with it a month, off and on, treating it as a toy and expecting it to jam. Well, maybe let's try weird ammo. Then, it was ran during a couple private courses. Needs more testing? Let's run it as my EDC pistol for a while. Cool part about having your own 100 meter range in your back yard, is whenever the computer pisses you off, you can just walk out and do an hour or so of EDC shooting drills. It's been a year. It's still my EDC pistol. I'm probably gonna pull the RMR off and run the new Vulcan reticle from Primary Arms on it, but other than that, I am planning on running this puppy for the foreseeable future. It's fun & it runs.
