Up and In: How Assaulters Go Up a Level | Tactical Rifleman1

We get questions and get asked to do videos about some other the tactics, equipment, and training that we used during assault and hostage rescue operations. First, we don't share tactics on the open internet. Second, most of the "real" training is actually pretty boring to an untrained observer. It's not exciting or sexy. A good example of that is simple Ladder Work. Assault forces, such as certain LE & Military units, use ladders to gain entry to higher areas of the target. Notice I didn't say second story windows; as ladders can be used to go from (example) the 40th floor to the 41st floor or vise versa. They can also be used to bridge across from one building to another. Sounds sexy, but it is really boring work. It's also really important training. If an assault force has not practiced Ladder Work, it really shows on target. Ladders can be really loud. They can also be really unstable, especially when you have 9 assaulters stacked on the ladder. You can often tell how good a team is by just how smooth they are with their ladder work. It is attention to these fine details and mastery of the basics that puts true professionals above their peers. I'd like to give a big shout out "Thank You" to the local SWAT operators that volunteered their time and allowed us to film them using the Alpha7 Ladder. These guys did a great job. They make it look easy. I would also like to thank they for their service to their communities and this great nation. I will always back the Thin Blue Line. I also want to thank Alpha7 for providing us with their awesome assault ladder. I was very impressed with the features and quality of this ladder. Check out this ladder and other cool gear at: https://www.alpha7-sys.com/english We have a great sponsor for this video, Aeolus Defense. They carry a bunch of great gear on their website: https://aeolusdefense.com/ I especially love their NOS Belt. This is hands down the best Gun Belt that I have ever seen.
